If you are unable to track your vehicle on your dashboard, please perform the checks below:


1) Is the device you wish to track added to your dashboard? Learn how to add your vehicle here: http://www.detrack.com/tutorials/how-to-add-a-vehicle/


2) Has the device you wish to track switched on Detrack App? If your driver has Detrack App on, at the Vehicles page, you will be able to see that it is “Connected” highlighted in green.


3) Does the device has Internet connection? Your device needs to have 3G cellular data enabled when outdoors to allow the GPS tracking signals to be sent back.


4) Has the device allowed Location Services for Detrack App? To do this, Go to Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> Detrack and make sure that it is enabled.  


If you are using GPS navigation, you will also need to enable Background App Refresh. Go to Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh and turn on this setting. Make sure that it is enabled for Detrack in particular. Background app refresh allows more than one app to run so in the case of navigation, you can use the Maps function and at the same time Detrack will be able to feed location back to our servers.


If after performing the checks tracking is still not working for you, please open a ticket and let us know the Detrack ID of the device that failed to track, this will help us to speed up troubleshooting.
